If the name Serengeti does not ring a bell. Let us tell you about this fascinating place. The Serengeti is located between Tanzania and Kenya and hosts the largest terrestrial mammal migration on this planet, which is one of the ten natural travel wonders of the world. The Serengeti is also renowned for its large lion population and is one of the best places to observe prides in their natural environment. On our trip you will be spending 3 days in the remarkable Serengeti in Tanzania.
Pemba Island is one of the best places to be in Tanzania diving just off the coast of Zanzibar. Some people consider it a scuba divers paradise as there is a lot to do not just underwater, but also on the island. Pemba Island offers dense corals that cover the region and coupled with its dramatic drop off reefs have made it a fantastic location for scuba diving. It has twice the number of coral genera found elsewhere in Tanzania and is home to more than 300 species of fish. Our scuba diving liveaboard is very unique as it only takes 8 scuba divers so you will truly have a special scuba diving experience. Our resort options are a great way to experience some of the world’s most beautiful beaches on top of your diving.

Depart to Tanzania
Arrive in Tanzania and transfer for Seronera Wildlife Lodge.(Full Board)
After breakfast proceed on to Serengeti National Park. The name Serengeti is derived from the Maasai Language ?siringet? meaning endless plains?. This is one of the most spectacular parks in the world. This park arguably offers the most scintillating game-viewing in Africa: great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephants and giraffe, and thousands of eland topi, kongoni, impala and grant gazelle. Pards, cerval cats and jackals watch the wandering game with interest, while elephants, rhino and buffalo continue their grazing. All meals and overnight stay at Seronera Wildlife Lodge.
After breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro and descend into the crater with picnic lunches for upclose game viewing. One of nature’s true wonders and a photographer’s paradise! The crater is the largest unbroken volcanic caldera on the globe. It is 610m deep and the flat crater floor covers 265 square kilometres. The steep sides of the crater means that it has become a natural enclosure for a very wide variety of wildlife including elephants, rhinos, cheetahs, lions, leopards, hyenas, serval cats, jackals, bushbucks, elands, waterbucks, wildebeest, many antelopes and large variety of birds. The crater is a sight that you will always remember and cherish. After a day well spent ascend the crater and return to your lodge. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge.(Full Board)
Transfer to airport to catch your charter flight from Arusha to Zanzibar. Transfer from Zanzibar airport to your scuba diving liveaboard or resort. 6 nights on liveaboard covering some of the top scuba dive sites in Pemba Island. Welcome on board your scuba diving liveaboard that is docked in Nungwi. Get situated in the cabins and get a boat briefing. Then we have dinner on board or in a restaurant in Nungwi, depending on the waves! After dinner, we get ready for departure, have a departure drink and start the overnight sail to Pemba. We enjoy the wonderful Southern Hemisphere sky!
We arrive at sunrise in front of Njao Gap, in the North of Pemba. If we are lucky, we see hundreds of spinner dolphins jumping around the boat. After breakfast, we dive Njao Gap and Heaven’s door and then anchor inside Njao Bay. In the afternoon/evening, we just relax and lie around the boat.
After breakfast, we can go and visit the village or the tropical rain forest, looking for monkeys or bush babies! In the afternoon we go diving. We stay at night in this most remote bay and enjoy the tranquil surroundings.
After a lazy morning with a little swim and breakfast, we sail down to Fundu Gap and fish on the way. We then dive Manta Point and Fundu Gap, if the tides allow (strong currents!) and then go to anchor in the bay behind Fundu island.
We sail down to Mesali island, which is a marine park and offers beautiful diving. We dive Revolution’s wall (some of the best coral in the area) and Coral garden and then anchor on the northern beach, for some resting, swimming and snorkeling, maybe even a barbecue if we were lucky with our en route fishing!
We sail back to Nungwi, over the Pemba Channel, fishing and looking for pilot whales, and relaxing after a full few days! We sail in Nungwi at sunset and arrive back at port.
After breakfast fly back home.
