Day 1

Depart to the Maldives

Day 2

Arrive in Male & Board the Yasawa Princess, Liveaboard.

Day 3-8

2-3 dives per day across the Maldives (Reef, Walls, Canyons/Caves, Wrecks). North & South Routes Available

Day 3-8 N

North Route: Ari Atol Cruise

Day 3: Morning leisurely cruise across the channel to Ari Atoll. After lunch on board the ship, enjoy the afternoon swimming, snorkeling and sunbathing, on a wonderful sandbank near the island of Maayafushi. There will be a check dive in the afternoon for Scuba Divers and a night dive.
Day 4: Spend a full day on the uninhabited island of Meerufenfushi, which has a reef to snorkel, and crystal clear waters for swimming. After lunch on board the ship, you can further enjoy what nature has to offer on the uninhabited island. Late afternoon will be back to the ship, and early evening we’ll head out again for a spot of night fishing! For divers there is 1 local dive in the morning and 1 in the afternoon.
Day 5: This morning clients get to relax on a tranquil sandbank, called Alikoy, which is close to the uninhabited picnic island of Dhiggiri, A leisurely few hours of swimming, snorkeling and relaxing, and totally at one with the surrounding environment. During the afternoon, we’ll cruise on further south towards the island of Theluveligaa. Tonight is Captains dinner, charismatic Captain Ahmed will be sure to entertain you with his stories of seafaring travels – watch out for his ‘unique’ jokes!! Divers will have 2 dives.
Day 6: This morning takes us to the picnic island of Theluveligaa – definitely a day for chilling out, prepare for a full island day! – Sun umbrellas provided for that vital shade, great snorkeling to be had, and a lovely Picnic lunch to give you sustenance!. You can head back to the ship in the afternoon and freshen up and get ready for a barbeque under the stars, and a bit of limbo dancing! Dives are available morning and afternoon.
Day 7: We sail off towards the local island of Dhangethi , where you can catch a glimpse of the local life, and spend some time in the Cultural Centre, which depicts a fascinating history and culture of this unique nation. The simplicity yet the self-sufficiency of the Maldivian is displayed artfully in the different exhibits. After lunch back on board, we sail back up north towards the island of Mahibadhoo, where we anchor for the night. Night fishing will be this evening’s entertainment. Am and Pm dives arranged.
Day 8: This morning we’ll be heading back into Male waters, with a quick stop en–route for a last swim from a sandbank near to Maniyafushi. During the sailing, lunch will be served on board, reaching Male itself in time to visit this tiny capital for a couple of hours. This evenings’ highlight at the end of the itinerary will be a fabulous Maldivian evening, your chance to dress up in traditional attire, sample the local food, and party Maldivian style!

Day 3-8 S

South Route: Vaavu Atoll Cruise

Day 3: The morning sees a leisurely cruise to a sandbank near Maafushi for snorkeling, swimming and sunbathing. Lunch will be on board the ship. During the afternoon the YP will be cruising across the Atoll Channel to Vaavu Atoll, so sit back and relax – watch out for flying fish and dolphins! Once anchored for the night, there will be a night fishing trip at sunset, followed by buffet dinner on board. There will be a check dive in the morning for Scuba Divers.
Day 4: Sail to tourist resort of Dhiggiri Island where the whole day can be spent snorkeling, sunbathing and swimming. Lunch will be back on the ship, after which you can return to the resort, use the facilities and relax, and stay to enjoy sunset. AM and PM dives available.
Day 5: During a leisurely breakfast, cruise to the picnic island of Vashogiri in Vaavu Atoll, where we spend a good few hours at leisure for swimming, snorkeling and sunbathing. A picnic lunch will be served on the island, and a glass bottom boat will also be available to take out and enjoy sights of the underwater world. During the afternoon, its back on board the ship, to take a leisurely sail towards Maadhoofinolhu. AM and PM dives available.
Day 6: The morning is spent on a lovely natural sandbank near the island of Maadhoofinolhu, for swimming, snorkeling and sunbathing, after which lunch will be served on board the ship. In the afternoon we have a trip to the local island of Guraidhoo, where we’re able to get a glimpse of the unique Maldivian way of life! During the evening, we hold the weekly Captains dinner, and reflect on the cruise so far in good company with new found friends! AM and PM dives available.
Day 7: Saturday is a full day with nature on the picnic uninhabited island of Maadhoofinolhu- relax, swim sunbathe and watch the vast horizon of the Indian Ocean in tranquil surroundings. A picnic lunch will be served on the island. Late afternoon is back to the ship to freshen up, and get ready for the wonderful and fun beach BBQ served on the island!
Day 8: Set sail in the morning and stop at a sandbank near to Maniyafushi en route for last quick swim and snorkel. Return to Male’ for shopping and sightseeing in the afternoon. The final evening of the itinerary will be the wonderful Maldivian theme night – food of local fare will be served, with everyone in traditional outfits, to relax and enjoy the last few hours in good company and in true Maldivian hospitality!
